El Pueblo Rhizort Calapan Inc. is a private hotel and exclusive resort facility in Calapan City, which is around 3 1/2 hours south of Manila. El Pueblo Rhizort offers personalized vacation and occasion packages for weddings, birthdays, seminars, parties, reunions and other special events. The resort is right at the boundary of Barangays Balite and Mahal Na Pangalan and its just 10 minutes away from Calapan City proper.

The word "Rhizort" of El Pueblo Rhizort was derived from the scientific name of Mangroves which are common sites to Mahal na Pangalan shorelines. El Pueblo Rhizort is maintaining and preserving these plants in its beach front in order to increase marine activity and help the environment to flourish.

El Pueblo Rhizort beach is known for its even and shallow water which is very ideal for water activities. During low tide, the exposed sand can extend to hundred meters from the normal shoreline exposing the natural corrals of Balite bay. This corral area is an ideal spot for snorkeling, kayaking, pedal boating and fishing for beginners. One can also stroll to these areas during an early morning low tide. At night and during low tide, one can also enjoy fish, stone crabs, shrimps catching that can be cooked and prepared by our staff when you get back to the resort.

How to get there?

From Manila take a bus going to Batangas City Pier. Travel time is approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours defending on traffic condition. If you are driving a car, you can take the South Expressway then exit to Calamba towards Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Take the Star Expressway after Turbina & exit to Lipa Going to Batangas City. It will take another 30 minutes to get to Batangas City Pier from Lipa Exit. To avoid Btangas City rush, prior to entering the city, you can make a right turn to Bauan highway going to pier.

When you get inside the Batangas Pier Terminal, you can take either the Supercat or Ro Ro Boat from Batangas Pier to Calapan City. Travel time is only 1 hour from Batangas to Calapan City via Supercat and around 2-3 hours on RoRo.

When you arrive in Calapan Pier, you can ride a tricycle to El Pueblo Rhizort. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes. The Resort is right at the boundary of Balite & Mahal Na Pangalan.
