Description of Maia's Beach Resort

Enjoy your vacation in Maia's Beach Resort, where the daily life of the Philippines, luxury and nature are connected in a unique and harmonious way. Owned and managed by Maia & Klaus Becker.

From the bar, the swimming pool, the restaurant and the picnic-cottages you have a beautiful view to the sea, you can enjoy the nature and watch the daily life of the people around. We are well known for our cleanliness and the good service.

Location of Maia's Beach Resort

Bantayan Island is located in the North-West of the main island Cebu. You can reach the international airport of Cebu City from Manila or from all other national airports of the Philippines. Furthermore there are connections (for example) from Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific or from Singapore with Silk Air (Singapore Airlines). After your arrival in Cebu City there are three possibilities, to come to Bantayan Island:

1. You go by taxi to the Northern Bus Terminal, and from there you go by bus (we recommend PCBL aircon-bus) to Hagnaya. From Hagnaya ferries (Island Express) are leaving to Sta. Fe at 7.30 a.m., 9.30 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.. Please take note that during low tide the ferries are anchoring outside of the port and the passengers will be transported to the ferry by a small motor boat.
